Television listings magazine TV & Satellite have tweeted that they have interviewed David Tennant and Ashley Jensen on the set of their new drama, The Escape Artist, today. The Escape Artist comes to BBC One later this year.
The interview will be published as part of the promotion for the show later this year.

Filming for David Tennant's new BBC One drama, The Escape Artist, is continuing with the action moving to a snowy Scotland this week.
A number of photos of the cast and crew have appeared on Twitter in the last couple of days, including the above snap of David with co star Sophie Okonedo taken by Alexander J. Blair

Early suggestions are that the new David Tennant TV drama The Escape Artist is scheduled to be screened on BBC One from September 2013.

David Tennant is currently shooting the three part legal thriller London, Surrey, Glasgow and Edinburgh. He stars as Will Burton, a talented junior barrister who specialises in spiriting people out of tight legal corners, hence his nickname of “The Escape Artist”. Will is in high demand as he has never lost a case. But when his talents acquit the prime suspect in a horrific murder trial, that brilliance comes back to bite him with unexpected and chilling results. The series was created and written by David Wolstencroft and also stars Ashley Jensen, Sophie Okonedo, Toby Kebbel and Tony Gardner.

The release date for the region 2 (UK and Europe) DVD of The Politician's Husband has now been pushed back to the 20th May 2013.

In the new drama series for BBC Two , David Tennant stars as Aiden Hoynes, a senior cabinet minister who has always put his career before family, with the support of Freya (Emily Watson) , his devoted wife and mother to their two young children. But when Freya's own political career takes off and threatens to overshadow his, Aiden's life is thrown into chaos. As his political career comes to a standstill, and with his marriage turned upside down, Aiden takes increasing risks in his quest for power.

The drama was written by Paula Milne and is produced by Daybreak Pictures for the BBC and directed by Simon Cellan Jones. The drama also stars Ed Stoppard, Roger Allam, Jack Shepherd and Oscar Kennedy.

The series will be shown on BBC Two later this spring.

Will Burton is a junior criminal defense lawyer who specializes in getting people out of tight legal corners... hence, his nickname of “The Escape Artist”. Will is in demand and has never lost a case. With a loving young family and a promotion to Queen‘s Counsel in his sights, everything is on the up.

Will‘s next case sees him defending Liam Foyle who has been charged with the horrific murder of a young woman. Despite the overwhelming evidence against Foyle, Will cannot help but be brilliant and gets him off on a technicality.

For the first time in his career, Will questions the morality of what he does and fails to shake Foyle’s hand at the end of the trial.

Suspected killer Foyle is released but shunned by Will, his attention is now
focussed in Will‘s direction.

Will’s brilliance comes back to bite him with unexpected and chilling results.
